The Professional Media Downloader is a high-performance, fully accessible tool designed for NVDA users to download audio and video content from over 1,000 streaming platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and more.

Key Keyboard Shortcuts

• NVDA+Shift+Y: Opens the Media Downloader dialog from any application.
• Alt+E: Focuses the Enter URL edit field.
• Alt+P: Paste the URL directly from the clipboard.
• Alt+D: Triggers the Download button.
• Alt+O: Opens the Downloads directory in Windows Explorer.

How to Use

1. Copy the URL of the media you wish to download from your web browser.
2. Press NVDA+Shift+Y to launch the downloader interface.
3. Auto-Fetch: The add-on will automatically detect and paste the URL from your clipboard upon opening. If not, use the Paste from Clipboard button.
4. Use the Tab key to navigate to the Format Selection box and choose your desired format (e.g., MP3, MP4, AAC, OPUS).
5. Press Enter or click the Download button to initiate the process.
6. Progress Monitoring: An accessible progress dialog will appear. You will hear an audible start beep, followed by a success tone once the download is complete.
