05 June 2026 day 05, month June, year 2026 Month names and abbreviations are accepted.
5 jun 26 day 5, month June, short year 26 Two-digit years use common date rules: 00 to 69 means 2000 to 2069, and 70 to 99 means 1970 to 1999.
Friday, 5 june 2026 weekday Friday, day 5, month June, year 2026 The weekday is accepted before or after the date. Date Parser will mention if the typed weekday does not match the date.
5 Mar day 5, month March, no year If the year is omitted, Date Parser chooses the next matching calendar date.

25 Fri day 25, weekday Friday Finds the next date where the 25th falls on a Friday.
-25 Fri previous day 25 that is a Friday A leading minus sign searches backwards instead of forwards.
25 Fri ago 25th Friday before today Adding a direction word makes the number a count of Fridays, not a day of the month.
-25Fri 25th Friday before today A compact counted-weekday form. The minus sign means backwards.
+25Fri 25th Friday after today A compact counted-weekday form. The plus sign means forwards.
3 Mondays prior 3rd Monday before today Words such as prior, before, back, ago, ahead, later, and from now are accepted.
today current date Returns today's date.
tomorrow current date plus 1 day Returns tomorrow's date.
yesterday current date minus 1 day Returns yesterday's date.
next year same month and day, one year ahead Useful when you want today's date but in the next year.
last year same month and day, one year ago Useful when you want today's date but in the previous year.
end of month last day of the current month Useful when you need the calendar boundary and do not want to remember month lengths.
start of next year January 1 of next year Boundary phrases work with this, next, and last month or year.
a year ago same month and day, one year ago Standard English relative wording is accepted.
in three days current date plus 3 days Numbers can be digits or common English number words.
3 current date plus 3 days A plain positive number means that many days from today.
-951 current date minus 951 days A plain negative number means that many days ago. For large offsets, Date Parser also shows the calendar distance.
5d current date plus 5 days Compact offsets support d for days.
2w from now current date plus 2 weeks Compact offsets support w for weeks.
5y 4m 3w 2d ago 5 years, 4 months, 3 weeks, and 2 days ago Multiple compact units can be combined.
5y -4m +3w -2d 5 years forward, 4 months back, 3 weeks forward, 2 days back Explicit plus and minus signs are applied to each unit. If the signs are mixed, Date Parser reports it as a mixed signed offset.
next thu next Thursday Weekday names and abbreviations are accepted.
33 wednesdays ago 33rd Wednesday before today Repeating weekdays can be counted backwards or forwards.
Note: Numeric dates use day/month/year. Named month dates can be day-first or month-first. In compact offsets, m means months; type mon for Monday.

The result includes the original input, the resolved date, and a short meaning. When it adds useful information, Date Parser also shows the calendar distance and the total day offset.
