Battery Alert

This add-on saves your computer's battery.
It alerts you when the battery is close to full in order to turn off the electrical power.
It also alerts you if you're running low to turn on the power.
Usage And Settings
From the settings menu in NVDA, we access the battery alert panel, and moving with the tab key
We will find the following options:
- Choosing the level at which we want to alert the power delivery, which by default is set to 15, it can be changed by typing the desired number, or moving with the upper and lower arrows and choosing the desired level.
- Choose the level at which we want the power to be turned off, and by default it is set to 90, and it can be changed in the same way as before.
- After that choose the alert method:
A dialog message, or speech only, that is to say a message read by a screen reader, or beep only or speech and beep together.
- Finally, choose to repeat the alert after a specified period of time, or not to repeat.
When there is a working alert, it will be automatically turned off when the power is connected or disconnected depending on the type of alert.
You can also turn it off manually via the shortcut:
nvda+f4
Add-on shortcuts
- nvda+f4: to stop the alert.
Remember that this shortcut can be changed from the input gestures dialog in NVDA.
